Overview


Sephora Pro Contour is a five-episode editorial content series for one of the world's leading beauty retailers. Each episode follows a Sephora Pro artist through the full contouring process — from identifying face shape to final blend — covering heart, round, oval, and square face profiles. The series translates professional technique into content that is both genuinely instructional and visually compelling.
Approach


The challenge with beauty education content is making it feel as good as it looks. Tutorial formats can easily sacrifice cinematic quality for clarity. Here the two had to coexist — close, intimate framing that followed the artist's hand and captured each stage of the process, while maintaining the editorial standard Sephora's audience expects. Clean lighting, precise composition, and a visual language that treated the subject like a beauty campaign, not a how-to video.
